Primary Functions

This is a tenure track, academic year Program Director of Clinical Education for the Respiratory Care Program in the Health Professions Department.

Teaching will be in the areas of organizing, administering, continuously reviewing, planning, developing, and the general effectiveness of clinical experiences for students enrolled in the Respiratory Care program. The Director of Clinical Education serves as a faculty member in the Respiratory Care program and is assigned appropriate didactic responsibilities.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensed by the State of Montana.
  • Four years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least two of the four years experience as an RPT in clinical respiratory care.
  • At least two of the four years experience in a teaching position in an accredited respiratory care program.
  • Evidence of excellence in teaching.
  • Proficient in use of computers and related word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software (MS Office Suite) is preferred.
