The UM Athletic Training Clinical Education Program requires students to complete a total of 65 weeks of clinical experience consisting of 4 part-time practicum experiences and 3 full-time clinical immersive experiences across a variety of clinical settings.

Clinical Experiences

Year 1

Clinical Immersion I

4 weeks, full-time, on or off campus in the Fall semester

Practicum in AT I & II

Totoal of 28 weeks, part-time, on or off campus in the Fall and Spring semester

Year 2

Clinical Immersion II

10 week, full-time, on or off campus in the Fall semester

Practicum in AT III & IV

15 weeks, part-time, on or off campus

Clinical Immersion III

8 weeks, full-time, on or off campus in the Spring semester
