Get the most out of your education at UM by participating in AT Griz Tracks as soon as you set foot on campus. Build connections among members of the athletic training community by collaborating and engaging in a variety of activities. Earn points through participation and win Griz AT gear! Follow these 3 easy steps below to play!

STEP 1 Start by joining AT Griz Tracks here

STEP 2 Select activities to complete from the list below to earn points

Ten Point Activities


  • Meet with the MAT program director (Dr. Valerie Moody)
  • Meet with MAT Faculty (Mitch Willert)
  • Join UMATSA (University of Montana Athletic Training Student Association)
  • Attend Griz Athletic Event (as Pre-AT student)*
  • Attend AT socials

Twenty-Five Point Activities


  • Community service such as Flagship program, Big brothers, Big Sisters
  • Campus service such as UM Advocate, Tutoring, Service Saturdays
  • Mentor meeting with pre-professional AT student
  • Utilize campus resources such as: Writing Center, Career Services, TRIO
  • Serve on UMATSA Committee

Fifty Point Activities


  • AT Internship (50 points for each credit)
  • Independent study with MAT faculty (50 points for each credit)
  • Research with MAT faculty (50 points for each credit)
  • Present at professional conference (UMCUR, GradCon, MTATA, NWATA, NATA*)
  • Serve as UMATSA officer
  • Serve on AT committee through MTATA, NWATA, or NATA

*Max 30 points awarded per year
