Actions

Near-term Actions

  • Define the suite of trainings we will provide annually, and offer, promote, and strongly encourage trainings for all students
  • Promote the "Don't Cancel that Class Program," in which a faculty can request a training from a menu (to include such topics as resiliency, bystander intervention, and healthy relationships) in lieu of canceling class
  • Provide anti-bias training each semester for ASUM senators

Future Actions

Completed and Ongoing Actions

  • Provide anti-bias training each semester for ASUM senators
  • For incoming undergraduate students, updated primary prevention and awareness programming to include the following:
    • Bystander intervention strategies for preventing victimization
    • Discussion of how racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and immigration status can increase vulnerability to sexual violence, and what research says about how and why people perpetrate sexual violence.
