Supportive and Protective Measures

EO/Title IX has broad jurisdiction to coordinate and implement Supportive and Protective Measures to members of the University community adversely affected by protected-class harm.

Supportive and Protective measures are non-disciplinary, non-punitive individualized services and tools offered as appropriate, as reasonably available, and without fee or charge to a Complainant or Respondent before, during, or after the filing of a Formal Complaint or where no Formal Complaint has been filed. Supportive and Protective measures are designed to restore or preserve equal access to the University’s Programs and Activities without unreasonably burdening the other party, and include measures designed to protect the safety of all parties or the University’s campus environment, or prevent or deter potential Prohibited Conduct.
