Cost of Attendance

Tuition and Fees

Estimated Cost of Attendance for In-State and Out-of-State Students

In addition to the general tuition, culinary arts students (any student that has a CULA major designation) will also have a $500 a semester program fee.  This fee covers all required expenses for books, materials, and uniforms for CULA classes only.  This fee also covers the cost of all certification tests, American Culinary Federation student membership (during the final semester for AAS students), in addition to auxiliary costs to maintain and run the program (equipment, licensure, etc.)

Students will also have course-specific fees each semester for each CULA class.  Fees are dependent on type of class (lab vs. lecture) and the materials needed in the class. Course fees range between $0-$250 a class. Current fee schedule.

Students can expect to have approximately $2,000 each semester in fees in addition to the base tuition.  Students, however, should not have any large out-of-pocket expenses directly related to culinary classes (Fees do not cover personal expenses such as computers, room and board, etc., and do not cover costs associated with classes that are not under the CULA rubric).

Financial Aid

Students are able to apply for federal financial aid and will receive aid in the means of grants, loans, and/or work-study, if eligible. Please contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.
