Registration Information

Registration for Summer Launch varies if you are an in-state OR out-of-state student. 

IN-STATE Registration

  1. Login to your UM Admissions Portal and scroll down to your "Admitted Student Checklist."

  2. Click on the "Summer Launch Program Application" located on the right side under "Your Optional Checklist."

  3. Decide if you want to take one and/or two courses and review the cost

  4. Complete and submit the short form in one sitting. You will receive an automated email once your form has been submitted. 

  5. Following your form submission, you will be registered for your course(s) and then in approximately 7-10 business days, you will receive an email from the UM Summer Office confirming that you have been registered for your course(s) and next steps on payment, as well as some helpful resources.

Please note: You will be charged the Montana Dual Enrollment (DE) rate for your Summer Launch course(s). On your transcript, the credits will be classified as "Non-Degree." However, these credits WILL count towards your degree at UM.

Once you begin your fall semester, you will go back to paying the Resident tuition and fees as a degree-seeking student.

OUT-OF-STATE Registration

  1. Login to your UM Admissions Portal and scroll down to your "Admitted Student Checklist."

  2. Click on the "Admission Change Form" located on the right side under "Your Optional Checklist."

  3. Select "Summer 2024 term" 

  4. Following your form submission, in a few days you will receive an email confirming your term has been changed, and you can register for one or both courses.
