Registration for Summer Launch varies if you are an in-state OR out-of-state student. 

IN-STATE Cost

Please note: You will be charged the Montana Dual Enrollment (DE) rate for your Summer Launch course(s). On your transcript, the credits will be classified as "Non-Degree." However, these credits WILL count towards your degree at UM.

Once you begin your fall semester, you will go back to paying the Resident tuition and fees as a degree-seeking student.

As a Dual Enrollment student at the University of Montana though the 1-2-Free program, we automatically will cover the tuition for your first two Dual Enrollment classes, you do not need to do anything else. Please see below what your cost for Summer Launch will be based on the 1-2-Free program.

OUT-OF-STATE Cost

All Summer Launch courses are offered online. Students enrolled only in online courses may opt into distance-only status for the purpose of waiving the immunization requirement and certain campus-based fees.
