Rather than waiting until the fall to get started on your academics, why not start in the summer? 

Summer Launch is a five-week online program that allows incoming first-year students an early opportunity to engage with fellow incoming students and complete up to two academic courses before their first Fall semester. 

When? June 24 – July 26, 2024

What Courses Will I Take? Over the five weeks in the summer, students will complete one and/or two online courses. Please visit the Course Options page for more information. 

Why? Students will have the opportunity to get ahead on coursework, participate in smaller classes, and get to virtually know the ins and outs of campus.

How Can I be Successful? Students should plan to spend, on average, 5-10 hours (depending on if you take one or two courses) each week on coursework and will need to balance summer activities with the program. Students will need access to a computer with microphone and video capabilities and access to the internet for the full 5-week program.
