Changing the order of the navigation

The order of objects within a folder can be adjusted so that the navigation is as desired.

  1. Click on a folder. The contents of that folder will be on the right hand side of the page ordered alphabetically by their system name.
  2. Click on the heading of the second column entitled "Order." This will display the items in the order that the navigation is built from.
  3. To move an item, hover your mouse over the item (your cursor will turn to a "down" arrow) and then drag it to the appropriate place.

This is the only place in the CMS where you will not have to submit.

If the navigational order doesn't change, first check the index block to verify it is set to order by Folder Order. Secondly, if some of the folders or objects aren't visible, they may be set not to be included in the navigation.  In the example below, the _cms, css and the imx folders that come with the site are set to be invisible in the navigation.
