Responsibilities: 

Trey joined the amazing staff of UM Campus Recreation as Business Manager in February 2022.  Where his responsibility is to forecast and interpret budgets and make recommendations to the Director on departmental fiscal policies involving the Grizzly Pool, University Golf Course and Fitness & Recreation Center.

Experience: Prior to joining the team, he a part of the City of Missoula Park and Recreation staff – with a focus on events and facilities rentals at Fort Missoula Regional Park.  

Trey is a Montana native.  Born in Butte and graduated from Ennis.  He is a University of Montana alumni (twice) – earning both his BS in Marketing and an MBA.

Between earning his Bachelors and his Masters, Trey spent over 20 years with the Los Angeles Dodgers in both their Business Operations/Marketing and Baseball Operations/Scouting Department.  In his time with the Dodgers, he was able to sharpen his Sports Marketing acumen, draft two Major Leaguer, and earned a World Series Ring.

Favorite place to recreate in Missoula: Trey, wife Julie – also a UM Alumni, and daughters Brittney, Emma, and son Rocco are all active in a myriad of different sports and other school activities.  When they find some free time, they love to get out on the water – whether it be taking their boat to the lake or floating the Clark Fork, or simply taking a hike up the Rattlesnake or Blue Mountain.
