University of Montana Staff Senate facilitates communication, cooperation, and engagement between the administration and the staff of the University of Montana. Staff Senate promotes and works to improve the working conditions and professional welfare of UM's staff - "The Heart of the Grizzly."
Staff Senate is working with the President’s Cabinet to plan a week-long Staff Summit in June, called CelebrateU. This event will recognize the hard work of our staff members and provide training tailored to the areas of interest indicated by you. Along those lines, we need your feedback in what training and types of appreciation you would like to see. To enter a drawing to win a prize and so we can design the events and training sessions to the needs of our staff community, please fill out the CelebrateU Survey.
In addition, there are other opportunities for you to influence the development of this event. The planning committee will be sending a follow-up survey in late January and will invite staff to participate in roundtable discussions in early February. If you are interested in becoming more involved, please email Rozlyn Haley and someone from the planning committee will reach out to you.
