*When you have found a suitable topic that interests you and a faculty member who is willing to chair your thesis committee, you are ready to begin your thesis. The chair of your thesis committee becomes your primary advisor. In consultation with your committee chair, put together your thesis committee that consists of at least one other department member and one other faculty member outside of the Department of Economics.
