Experiential Learning & Career Success partners with faculty and staff to provide students with a variety of resources to assist with student career development. One of our primary goals is to guide students through the process of finding, applying for, and marketing out of classroom experiential activities that will enhance and complement their in classroom experiences.

University of Montana utilizes Handshake, a nation-wide employment platform, for all student opportunities. To advertise your opportunities and hire students, just request to join your department. Does your department not have an employer account yet? Create one today!

Student Employment Week is an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the value that student employees bring to the workplace. During this week, we encourage you to do something special for your student employees to let them know they are appreciated!

Don't forget to nominate a deserving student employee for the Student Employee of the Year award. See details in the next section!

Each year, one deserving UM student employee will be honored as University of Montana's Student Employee of the Year. If you have an outstanding student employee, we encourage you to submit a nomination. The winning student will receive a $500 scholarship! 

Nominations are due: Submissions will open at the end of February

Only one student nomination per department is accepted.
