Funding for eight- to ten-week summer study overseas that provides language and cultural immersion for American students. Individuals are selected who show a commitment to critical need language learning; a connection between language and academic/professional goals; adaptability, sensitivity, and resilience; and who contribute to the CLS program and goals. Countries vary in their eligibility requirements, see CLS website for details. Students can apply for and receive both a CLS and Fulbright.
