Personal Summary

As a proud Davidson Honors College alumnus, Noah Durnell understands firsthand the direct impact the college has on students at the University of Montana and is thrilled to be part of the team that contributes to this transformative experience.

Noah serves as the Assistant Director of Development for the Davidson Honors College at the University of Montana Foundation. In this capacity, Noah is dedicated to raising resources to support the various exceptional opportunities offered by the Davidson Honors College. These include Presidential Leadership Scholarships, which help students from across the nation pursue their dreams of attending the university, as well as initiatives in curriculum and research that provide students with a rigorous and challenging academic environment. Noah also oversees annual gifts to the Impact Fund, which provides essential and unrestricted resources to the Davidson Honors College, enabling them to fill gaps and pursue new and innovative endeavors.

Prior to joining the Davidson Honors College, Noah spent a year raising resources for the University of Montana's Military and Veteran Services Office, Native American Excellence initiatives, scholarship opportunities, and the unrestricted "President's Excellence Fund." Before delving into the world of fundraising, Noah was a student at the University of Montana for five years, pursuing studies in Music Performance, Non-profit Administration, and Entertainment Management. His deep affection for the university is largely attributed to his involvement in student governance, particularly during his tenure as the 2021-2022 student body president, where he led student-driven initiatives to foster positive change at the University of Montana.

When Noah isn't at the Davidson Honors College, he can often be found engaging with the community of Missoula. With his sociable nature, he enjoys building connections and deepening relationships with the people of the area. In his spare time, Noah indulges in his passion for playing the Oboe or immerses himself in cozy moments with multiple blankets, enjoying a horror movie, reading a Harry Potter book, or perhaps indulging a bit too much in the world of Legend of Zelda.

If you are interested in supporting the Davidson Honors College, please don't hesitate to reach out. Noah would be delighted to welcome you to the team!
