UM's Online Beekeeping Certificate program consists of three university-level courses at the apprentice, journeyman and master levels, culminating in a certificate designating the participant as a "Master Beekeeper." The program is endorsed by the Montana State Beekeepers Association, The American Honey Producers Association and Project Apis m. UM also teaches special topics courses such as Natural Beekeeping. Our courses are taught by UM faculty members and owners of Bee Alert Technology, Dr. Jerry Bromenshenk, Scott Debnam and Phillip Welch, widely regarded as one of the nation's premier honey bee research teams.

The Crosscut Sawyer is designed to provide the basic technical knowledge needed by federal land management agency employees and partners to use crosscut saws safely and efficiently for bucking in moderately complex or "B-level" situations. The course is intended to complement, but not replace, field certification, in which sawyers may also be required to prove their competence to a certifying official before being allowed to operate a crosscut saw.

Introduction to Culinary Medicine is an online course available to interested parties in the general public that covers the same material offered at the graduate level, 3-credit university course. It will provide an overview of the many facets and intriguing insights into this newly evolving discipline.

Dual-Credit Anatomy and Physiology Training is a digital badge available at University of Montana. The training aims to educate high school science teachers about the requirements for a dual-credit Anatomy & Physiology course and demonstrate how the Montana Science Standards/NGSS can be incorporated into this type of course, how to incorporate the 2019 National Health Science Standards into this type of course and explain the difference between high school credit, college credit, dual-credit, and career and technical education (CTE) coursework. Develop and implement an inquiry-based science curriculum based on best practices in learning and Anatomy & Physiology. Provide resources on Anatomy & Physiology, CTE, NGSS, and Inquiry-based instruction.
