ASUM
The Associated Students of the University of Montana (ASUM) is the student governing body at the University of Montana. ASUM serves as an advocate for UM’s study body to many different stakeholders including but not limited to UM Administration and Faculty, Board of Regents (BOR), Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education (OCHE), Montana Associated Students (MAS), etc. ASUM’s President serves as the student body’s voice and takes appointments to talk about various concerns regarding education, student life, UM Policies, etc.

ASUM Legal Services
ASUM Legal Services provides low-cost legal assistance to students at UM. They are comprised of two attorneys, Lou Villemez and Jessie Lundberg, a Legal Assistant, and law school student interns working under the supervision of the attorneys. Legal advice is free for students and small fees are charged for legal services beyond advice appointments. Services offered include but are not limited to Landlord & Tenant, Housing, Family law, Consumer Matters, Criminal cases, Civil rights, Property damage, Document Drafting, Name change, etc.

Branch Center
At the University Center, one of our core values is Diversity. The Branch Center is the space for student diversity and inclusion at the University of Montana. The Branch center is a space dedicated to promoting respectful and collaborative dialogue, programming, and resources, in an effort to foster understanding, support, and inclusion for underrepresented students.

Office for Disability Equity (ODE)
ODE is an on-campus resource for disability-related information. ODE works with students to provide requests for accommodations and/or services, these include but are not limited to flexibility with attendance and deadlines, accessible parking permits, housing accommodations, note-taking accommodations, testing accommodations, interpretation services, etc.
