Scholarships and Cost

The Department of Public Administration and Policy offers a variety of scholarships through small stipends to graduate level graduate assistantships to assist faculty with teaching and/or research. The scholarships are announced via email by the Associate Dean.

Scholarships

Students in the classroomDPAP scholarship and graduate assistantship applications open in the Spring of each academic year. To apply, you must be a fully admitted MPA student with a 3.5 or higher GPA. If you are newly admitted and do not have a graduate-level GPA, your undergraduate GPA should be 3.5 or higher.

This is open to MPA/JD, MPA/MPH, MPA (general), and MPA (nonprofit track) students. All online and in-person students are encouraged to apply. Again, you must be fully admitted and, if awarded, registered for six (6) credits. The scholarship will be applied to your tuition bill for an entire academic year or one semester.

Students can reapply.
