Gain skills needed to work alongside licensed health care providers, primarily in outpatient or ambulatory care facilities, performing administrative and/or clinical duties. You will be cross-trained in front office administrative, clinical and limited laboratory procedures. Some of the clinical skills you will learn include assisting with medical examinations, vital signs, administering medications and injections (under supervision), sterilizing instruments and electrocardiography.
