Respiratory therapists earn high wages and are in high demand throughout the United States. As a member of a health care team, you will be have important responsibilities, including evaluating patients suffering from respiratory illnesses or other cardiopulmonary disorders and deciding how best to treat and manage them. Graduates will have the option to work in a variety of clinical settings including hospitals, long-term acute care facilities, physician offices, clinics and even patients' homes.
