eLearning Courses

WHAT IS IT?

These web-based eLearning courses expand on the tele-coaching topics and are available 24/7, for drop-in learning for all child protection staff.

  • Trauma and ACEs (3 hrs)
  • Trauma-Informed Child Development (3 hrs)
  • Self-Care and Secondary Trauma (3 hrs)
  • Documentation in Child Protection (3 hrs)
  • Working with the Court to Protect Children (3 hrs)
  • Assessment and Differential Response (3 hrs)
  • Ethics in Child Protection (2 hrs)

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

The eLearning courses are located below and are available anytime. To start, click on the button below that says start here and follow these steps:

  1. If this is your first time signing in, select “Create New Account.”
  2. Read the Moodle Cloud privacy policy and click “next” on the left-hand side.
  3. Read the Moodle Cloud cookies policy and click “next” on the left-hand side.
  4. Check the boxes indicating you agree to the previous policies, then click “next” on the left-hand side.
  5. Choose your username and password. 
  6. Enter your personal information and click on “Create My New Account.” 
  7. Once you are logged in, click on the “Home” button, located under your profile or to the left of your dashboard. 
  8. Under registration is required for partner organizations, select Bureau of Indian Affairs Training (BIA). Enjoy your training!
