Journeys is for returning middle school students for a 1-week intensive program that will focus on a single STEM area to provide a more in-depth experience. The program area rotates every year.

For returning MT AIMS-Gatherings students, the journey continues with MT AIMS Journeys, a dynamic 6-day educational experience that delves deeper into the world of STEM. This program introduces a novel dimension to the students' learning adventure, emphasizing a singular project while embarking on immersive field trips and lab visits across a spectrum of STEM disciplines.

MT AIMS Journeys operates within the framework of the STEM Workshop, providing hands-on, inquiry-based experiences. These engaging activities not only cultivate knowledge but also instill a sense of curiosity and exploration. The objective remains consistent: to maintain students' active involvement in the learning community and drive them toward the milestone of completing Algebra 1 by the 9th grade.

Each year, students encounter a fresh focus, ensuring that those who completed MT AIMS Gatherings embark on diverse explorations during the following years of MT AIMS participation.
