The People

The master's program brings together faculty and students who are passionate about environmental science and natural resource journalism and communication. Students are chosen to represent a variety of backgrounds, from news writers and photographers to scientists and forestry professionals. The diversity of each master's class creates a unique atmosphere of mutual learning. Students grow close as they work on individual stories and team projects. After graduation, they go on to jobs across the changing media landscape, from newspaper positions to social media, video and web production.
