University United Food Friday

REGISTER NOW FOR UNIVERSITY UNITED FOOD FRIDAY!

The 2022 University United Food Friday (UUFF) event is underway! UUFF is a great opportunity for UM, United Way of Missoula County, and many Missoula community partners to serve together, helping to build connections and feed thousands of our neighbors.

On Friday, October 21, 2022, 400 volunteers will package 100,000 nonperishable meals for distribution to youth and their families through the Missoula Food Bank’s EmPower Pack weekend nutrition program. The program provides healthy meals for students who experience chronic hunger while away from school. Each meal serves a family of six, allowing the entire family to enjoy a meal together, or feeding a child for the entirety of an extended school break.

Volunteers can sign up for one of two shifts. The morning shift is from 9:00 am-12:00 pm, and the afternoon shift is from 12:30 pm-3:30 pm. Individuals and groups should register via Qualtrics.

Interested groups can register as teams and teams will be assigned tables and given instructions on packaging upon arrival at the UC.

Parking Information

Limited free parking is available to sponsors and volunteers on October 21. 110 spaces will be reserved on the top floor of our main campus parking garage (Parking Structure R3). For other parking and transportation options, check out the UM Parking Maps and ASUM Transportation.
