The Brain Initiative is the University of Montana’s campus portal and network designed to keep students, faculty and staff informed as to neuroscience-related news, opportunities and resources.

Our target audience goes beyond those in the STEM fields and is meant to include all campus community members, especially those in the Humanities, Arts, Education and Business, who share a common interest in the brain, cognition and how neuroscience intersects with their fields of study.

The Initiative is also aligned with a recently awarded grant from the W.M. Keck Foundation, Neuroscience: A novel perspective for the campus-wide integration of STEM, Humanities & Education curricula, focused on allowing all students to benefit from UM’s strength in Neuroscience.
