ONLINE ACCESS TO 1098-T FORMS

UM offers view access to your 1098-T forms online through Cyberbear. All students eligible for a 1098-T form for the year will be able to see a copy of their 1098-T online.

Online access of 1098-Ts allows for:

• Earlier access to tax information: 1098-T information is available in Cyberbear well before the information is received by students in the mail
• Reprinting 1098-Ts on your own: Students no longer need to go through the Business Services for additional copies of their 1098-T forms

Please Note: 1098-Ts will still be mailed to the mailing address on file.  To update your mailing address, go to and Account Information in CyberBear.

To Access Your 1098-T Through Banner:

1) Login to your CyberBear account.

2) Choose Payment and Account Information
3) Choose Tax Notification – 1098T.

4) Select tax year in the drop down box.

Once you have accessed your 1098T online you can view an itemized list of the amounts in each of the boxes by scrolling down the page.  If no information appears, the year may have been archived and you will need to contact Business Services at (406) 243-2223.
