German Immersion Workshop Credit Information

The workshop registration fee

includes up to 3 semester credits through

German Immersion Workshop participants register for two undergraduate semester credits in GERM 494: Die deutschsprachigen Länder: ein Mosaik aus Kunst, Kultur und Geographie. Graduate-level participants register for two graduate semester credits in GERM 595: Die deutschsprachigen Länder: ein Mosaik aus Kunst, Kultur und Geographie.

One additional credit is available

in each course at no additional cost.

The requirements for credit are:

• Attending and participating in all workshop sessions and activities (undergraduate and graduate credit)
• Participants opting for three credits (undergraduate and graduate) must complete the post-course project of developing a teaching unit based on the workshop topic.

Students may select traditional letter grade, pass/not pass, or audit grading for these courses. The fees for these credits are included in the workshop registration fee. Particiants receive credit registration information and forms in the workshop registration confirmation packet.
