The University of Montana Native American Research Laboratory (NARL) promotes the advancement of Native American and Alaska Native graduate students through research, education, professional development, and community building. Funding opportunities and laboratory space and equipment is available for Indigenous students seeking Masters and Ph.D.’s in STEM related fields. The NARL also promotes Native STEM education by providing opportunities for K – 12 students and teachers, undergraduate students, and tribal colleges to be a part of the work associated with the NARL and the University of Montana.
