Fall 2024 Housing Selection Process
Application opens Oct. 2 2023
UM Housing allows students a variety of flexibility when it comes to their housing application. Students are allowed to select their own rooms, roommates, bed heights and so much more!
Step 1:
The Residence Halls Application is a 3 step process.
Starting when the application opens October 2nd 2023, you will be able to complete the first step of the application.
Things you will complete in Step 1:
- Personal Information
- Create Profile
- Pay the Housing Pre-Payment
- Pick and LLC Preference
- Select a Meal Plan
- Find Potential Roommates
- Sign Your Housing Contract
Step 2:
Priority Deadline: March 15
Priority Room selection opens March 26- June 28
Room Selection opens for New students who applied after Priority Deadline: April 9- June 28
*Bed Height changes must be made before noon on July 10th*
Priority Deadline: February 29
(Priority) Bed Renew: March 4—March 7
Priority Room Selection: March 12th -- June 28
Room Selection opens for Returning students who applied after Priority Deadline: April 2-- June 28
*Bed Height changes must be made before noon on July 10th*
Step 3:
Move in Appointments open July 8th and should be completed before Move-in Day!
