Professor Bacevich is the author of two books that have profoundly influenced the current debate over American foreign policy: American Empire: The Realities and Consequences of U.S. Diplomacy (2002) and The New American Militarism: How Americans Are Seduced by War (2005). A West Point graduate, he has lectured widely in America, Europe, and Japan on the dangers arising from the illusions of our leaders about American military supremacy.
In addition, Professor Bacevich will give a faculty-student seminar entitled "Revising the American Century" from 3:10-4:30 P.M. in Gallagher Business Building 123.
