Author of the prize-winning Habits of the Heart and The Good Society, Robert Bellah is a leading thinker on how religion influences society. In his lecture, he will discuss the dangers lurking in a society that has slipped its ethical moorings.

In addition, Professor Bellah will give a faculty-student seminar that afternoon entitled "The Evolution of Consciousness and Religion" from 3:10-4:30 P.M. in Gallagher Business 123.
