Traffic Improvement Project Near Campus Now Open
Drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians will find the area around the Madison Street Bridge and the north entrance to the UM campus safer and easier to navigate now that the Arthur Avenue traffic improvement project is open. Drivers are encouraged to pay extra attention to new signs and signals and to lane markings. Read more

Forum Events Feature Experts on Environmental Policy
The autumn semester Natural Resources and Environmental Policy Forum at UM begins at noon Tuesday, Sept. 13, in Law Building Room 101. Australia National University's Carina Wyborn will present "Connectivity Conservation in Australia: The Science and Values of Large Landscape Collaboration." UM Volleyball 1-1 Heading into North Dakota Classic
Montana is 1-1 after splitting two matches Aug. 26 at Temple University's tournament in Philadelphia. The Grizzlies lost in straight sets to tournament champion South Carolina in the afternoon, then downed Stony Brook 3-1 that evening. The tournament was cut short so teams could depart the area before the arrival of Hurricane Irene.
The season continues this weekend at the two-day, four-team North Dakota Classic in Grand Forks, N.D. Montana and North Dakota will be joined at the tournament by Wisconsin-Green Bay and Southern Utah.
