RETURN TO PLAY

Our program was among the first in the nation and our leadership in the field continues today. As a student in this master’s program, you’ll enjoy a low student-to-faculty ratio while learning from a range of health care professionals who will help you develop the critical thinking, decision-making and communication skills necessary for success in this rigorous and unique field. You’ll gain extensive, hands-on experience at various clinical education sites including hospitals, schools, fitness facilities and professional sport teams. Athletic Trainers (ATs) serve an important role in the prevention and rehabilitation of injury – as an AT student at UM you’ll work hard to ensure others can return to play.
