Over the years, we have been working to develop a system for deploying atmospheric data measuring devices called radiosondes from Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Using multiple platforms - fixed wing drones, quadcopters, and high altitude balloons, we aim to supplement traditional balloon-borne radiosonde flights, and enhance the spatial and temporal resolution of atmospheric data.
