Meet Ollie, PharmBioSci’s Chief Wellbeing Officer
Ollie is an English Cream Golden Retriever and an approved therapy dog in training at the University of Montana. As a member of the Department of Pharmaceutical & Biomedical Sciences (PharmBioSci) community, Ollie plays a special support role in student engagement and recruitment, mental health and wellbeing initiatives, and educational programming.
You can often find Ollie in the Skaggs Building, where he greets pharmacy students before exams, or in the PharmBioSci office Monday through Wednesday. During finals week, he also holds “office hours” in the College of Health Office of Student Services, where he enjoys visits from students, faculty, and staff.
Ollie loves meeting fellow Grizzlies and is working toward becoming a fully certified therapy dog. In the meantime, he is always ready to practice his manners, provide a little encouragement, and brighten someone’s day.
Questions? Stop by Skaggs 395 or contact Ollie’s owner, Kate Pennacchio, at 406-243-4334.
