I have found that students that value higher education are not only looking to challenge themselves academically, but are also curious about discovering their personal beliefs, roles in relationships, and are seeking to heal from past traumas. 

I use a strengths-based approach to come along students and support them with challenges including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, codependency, trauma, life transitions, peer relationships, self-esteem, identity and gender, self-harm, school issues, family conflict, grief and loss, boundary setting along with other mental health concerns. I have a direct yet compassionate style to help gain clarity around what we have the power to control. 

I have 19 years of experience working in mental health agencies, schools. private practice and the university setting. I am licensed in Montana and Colorado. I offer practical strategies and insight using a variety of different therapy interventions that best meet the student’s needs. I am trained in EMDR and play therapy.

In my free time, you can find me listening to a book, walking my Golden Retriever, and traveling with my family.  If you are a student from out of state, chances are I have traveled close to your home town.  I am also a proud third-generation graduate of the University of Montana.
