Personal Summary

Coming to counseling in the midst of your busy college career can be a radical act of courage and self-love. As your counselor, I will collaborate with you to create an empathetic, judgment-free environment so you can identify your strengths, uncover personal beliefs, and embrace becoming your own guide.

I have worked with both traditional and non-traditional college students in areas concerning anxiety, grief, family conflict, self-acceptance, and loneliness. I have particular experience working with LGBTQ+ clients across the lifespan. You deserve hope, safety, and affirmation as you navigate the profound ways your identities might manifest in your life, including gender expression and transitioning, intimate relationships, spirituality and religion, and finding community. I will also hold space with you to explore areas of your life that do not directly relate to your personal identities, while still acknowledging ways that culture, gender, race, and larger systems can impact your ability to achieve your personal goals.

In my free time, I love to hike and camp, cook spicy recipes, read mystery novels, and find various ways to spend time with my favorite animal: the humble chicken.
