CAEP Annual Reporting Measures

Accreditation Information

The UM Educator Preparation Programs (EPP) are fully accredited by the Montana Board of Public Education and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) through December 31, 2027. Our next accreditation review and site visit will occur in Spring 2027. UM's education programs have been nationally accredited continuously since 1954.

Program Impact and Outcome Measures (CAEP Standard 4)

The Montana Educator Preparation Program (EPP) Statewide Protocol for Continuous Improvement is a 3-year cycle of data collection designed to support EPP continuous program improvement and meet ARM 10.58.314 through analyses of employer satisfaction and completer impact, performance, and perception of program relevance.

Completer Effectiveness (Initial Programs)

In 2021, the college completed a case study of recent program completers as part of a three-year review cycle. Click CASE STUDY for more information. The Employer survey linked below also address our program's impact and completer teaching effectiveness.

Satisfaction of Employers

  • Employer Survey Results 17-18 (Initial Programs)
  • Employer Survey in progress for Au 22 (Initial and Advanced Programs)
  • The initial programs employer survey results for completers from 19-20 and 20-21 will be available in Spring 2023. This delay is due to changes in state-level protocols between the OPI and MCDE.
  • The advanced programs employer survey for completers from 19-20 and 20-21 will be available in Summer 2023. This delay is due to the revisions to standards found in ARM 10.58 currently going through Montana Board of Public Education review.
