Serving the Flathead Valley, Greater Valley Health Center is a Federally Qualified, non-profit community health center offering integrated primary medical and dental services, outpatient behavioral health, medication assisted therapy, and substance use disorder treatment. The main clinic is located in Kalispell with a satellite clinic in Hungry Horse. GVHC provides behavioral health services in seven schools throughout the Flathead Valley and provides medical services at three school based health centers in Kalispell and Evergreen.
For those who were willing to share their income level, eighty-five percent of the GVHC patient population is below the 200% Federal Poverty Level. The clinics see a wide variety of patients of all ages providing a full spectrum of family medicine services including pediatric care, wellness, chronic disease management, hormone therapy, and HIV/AIDS and HVC testing, treatment and case management. Residents care for patients throughout pregnancy, delivering their continuity patients at Logan Health in Kalispell.
With the acquisition of Sykes Pharmacy in Kalispell and Columbia Falls, GVHC now has 3 clinical pharmacists on site that complements the health center’s 340B medication program.
Patients in the Flathead Valley, regardless of their ability to pay, have access to:
- Full spectrum family medicine services including pediatric care, chronic disease management and prenatal care
- Family planning services
- HIV/AIDS and HCV testing, counseling, treatment and case management
- Medication assisted therapy for substance use disorders and well as comprehensive addiction services
- Behavioral Health services
