Dr. Angela Haugo, DO
Dr. Angela Haugo enjoyed 2 mission trips to Kenya during the summers of 2015 and 2017, which changed her life in wonderful ways.
Dr. Haugo practices family medicine with a strong emphasis on wellness and prevention.
At 6 years old, she knew her calling in life was to be a doctor. Dr. Haugo graduated from the University of Montana with a bachelor degree in 1998. She attended Des Moines University for medical school 2000-2004 and completed her physician residency training through Family Medicine in Spokane from 2004-2007. Angela worked as a family medicine doctor in downtown Spokane for over 5 years before moving to Stevensville, Montana to be closer to family and enjoy a change of pace with a rural practice.
Angela practiced as a traditional doctor in Stevensville for 5 years and then decided to take a new path. Last August, she started an independent practice in Hamilton integrating wellness coaching and family medicine services. She is passionate about finding an individualized plan for improving health and well-being for everyone. She focuses on nutrition, fitness, stress management (including mindfulness, meditation), developing constructive thinking processes and life balance. Dr. Haugo wants to be part of a revolution of positive change. She believes that being healthy is contagious as one changed life causes a ripple effect to those around them.
