Libbie Lapp, PA-C
Libbie is a practicing dermatology Physician Assistant working at Dermatology Associates in Kalispell since 2004. She graduated from Rocky Mountain College as a Physician Assistant in 2004. Prior to that, she was a Registered Pharmacist working in the Kalispell area after graduating from South Dakota State University with her BS Pharmacy in 1988. Libbie also spent 15 years as an EMT with the Creston Fire Department.
Libbie has traveled to Haiti five times since March of 2011, primarily working with Mennonite Central Committee-Haiti, an organization that has had a presence in Haiti since the 1950's. Work included removing rubble after the earthquake, tree planting, and teaching first aid classes. Libbie will share her experiences from these trips and try to change the narrative as we talk about Haiti as a proud and beautiful country that struggles with poverty, lack of infrastructure, and dependency on the current aid structure.
