Undergraduate students have opportunities to participate as research assistants under Dr. Goforth's supervision. Through this experience, undergraduate research assistants learn about the science of psychology. They participate in a variety of activities, including developing research questions, entering and analyzing data, and administering surveys to participants. The undergraduate research assistants meet with Dr. Goforth as part of a weekly research lab meeting as well as individually. Furthermore, they experience mentorship from graduate students in the lab and develop their understanding of how to disseminate research.
