The University of Montana invites members of the community and Griz supporters to the fourth-annual Winter Pep Rally.
This year’s event will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at the River Bowl, just north of the Adams Center, between the Lady Griz and men’s basketball games against Montana State University–Bozeman. The pep rally is expanding this year to feature a rail jam ski and snowboard competition in addition to the bonfire and fireworks show.
The pep rally is free to attend and will feature music and drinks, including hot cocoa and cookies from the Associated Students of UM, Monster Energy and Coca-Cola. Prizes will also be given away throughout the afternoon, including free passes to Lookout Pass.
Saturday’s schedule of events:
- 2 p.m. – Lady Griz vs. Montana State (Dahlberg Arena)
- 4 p.m. – Rail Jam Competition (River Bowl)
- 5:30 p.m. – Bonfire (River Bowl)
- 6:15 p.m. – Fireworks (River Bowl)
- 7 p.m. – Griz Basketball vs. Montana State (Dahlberg Arena)
