Charge
The Shared Governance Council provides a regular forum for communication and consultation among the University’s executive leadership and the leaders of the Faculty Senate, Staff Senate, and Student Senate.
The Council meets three times each semester, with each governance body convening one meeting that includes its expanded leadership team and follows an agenda it establishes. The final meeting of each academic year will include discussion of new and revised University policies.
The Council complements, but does not replace, the established responsibilities and decision-making processes of executive leadership and the shared governance bodies.
