Dear Campus Community:

I am excited to announce a new event that expresses our shared commitment to embodying the principle of “Mission First, People Always,” one of our five priorities for action. Staff Senate has taken the lead in planning CelebrateU, a program for all employees. CelebrateU will promote engagement and appreciation as well as personal and professional development throughout the year. 

The kickoff CelebrateU event will take place during the first week of June. Please mark your calendars and plan to participate in an array of education, training and appreciation opportunities. The CelebrateU Planning Committee will be reaching out for your input and support. Please encourage your colleagues to participate in making this an exciting week of engagement for all employees, and please stay tuned for more information as the week takes shape.

We refer often to the extensive UM Family. At heart of this family are our employees. CelebrateU will be one way for us to demonstrate that engagement and opportunity for our employees is a critical part of our mission.
