Dear Campus Community,

Registration is now open for the Missoula Parks and Recreation Fall Youth Camps that will be offered on campus for UM faculty and staff members. MPR will contact all registered families with more information directly. While preregistration is required, MPR shared that UM families can sign up for individual camp sessions as late as the night before, based on availability.

As a reminder, these camps are only open to the elementary-aged children of UM faculty and staff members. You must communicate the code "Grizzlies" to register.

The initial camp offerings will run through Sept. 18 and then will be reassessed by MPR based on the Missoula County Public Schools schedule. As the program starts on Monday and Recreation Grant applications take time to process, Meg Whicher asked that those applying for grants email her directly at WhicherM@ci.missoula.mt.us.

If you have questions about camps, recreation grants or the online registration process, please email MPR at parksrec@ci.missoula.mt.us. You may also contact MPR directly at 721-PARK (7275), though MPR shared that their phone lines have been extremely busy, so email is the preferred option.

Thank you to Missoula Parks and Recreation for making this opportunity available to UM faculty and staff. For UM families with children in middle school, UM Campus Recreation is exploring programming possibilities for this age group.
