This is the 2023 Brennan Guth Memorial Lecture in Environmental Philosophy.

Biography

A professor of hydrology and a Global Futures Professor in the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University, Jay Famiglietti’s research uses satellites to develop advanced computer models for tracking how freshwater availability is changing around the globe. Dr. Famiglietti is a regular advisor to state, provincial and federal government officials on water availability and water security issues.
