About Course Evaluations

According to the Collective Bargaining Agreement (10.220), each faculty member must have at least one course evaluated each semester they teach. Starting from the Spring semester of 2023, the Office of the Provost is facilitating these evaluations through Qualtrics, specifically designed for Course Feedback Surveys. Note, this Qualtrics instance is separate from the university-wide Qualtrics system used for research.

To access your Course Feedback Survey dashboard and view the results, please log in using your @umontana.edu employee email alias:

There are currently two dashboards in place. The first one covers surveys for Spring, Summer, and part-of-term courses for Autumn 2023. The second dashboard contains feedback from the revised survey launched at the end of Autumn 2023, including any additional questions selected by the instructor.

From Fall 2020 to Fall 2022, Blue course evaluations by Explorance were widely adopted for evaluation needs in many units. More information about this system and instructions on usage are available on this website. To access your course evaluation results from Blue, log in using your NetID and password:

Not all units have adopted these systems. Contact your department chair or program director to confirm the system used by your unit.
