Faculty Affiliates

Who is a faculty affiliate?

  • Faculty affiliates and griz visitors are associated with an academic department or organization of the University for the purposes of research or academic oversight.
  • Those who hold the courtesy appointments typically contribute to the instructional, research, creative activity, or service functions of the University.
  • Examples of faculty affiliate eligibility include serving on a graduate committee, preceptor for nursing students, or contributing to research.
  • Current employees, students, and other affiliates are not eligible for affiliate status.
